Steven has been the director of the Cornerstone Chorale & Orchestra since January 2020. As its director, he has planned and directed the inaugural Christmas Concert with the Cornerstone Orchestra and led collaborations with the Parker Symphony Orchestra, the 101st Army Band, and Arapahoe High School, among others.
Steven originally joined the Chorale in 2014 and held multiple roles prior to becoming its director, including section leader, associate conductor, and assistant director. He also served as a soloist in Cornerstone's production of Rob Gardner's Lamb of God in the parts of Peter, Thomas, John, and Judas. Steven holds a B.A. in Music with Business Minor from Brigham Young University, and earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He has also studied classical and jazz piano and voice for many years.
Steven is married and has three children, who all love to sing! He works as a business immigration attorney and, having grown up in Colorado, loves to kayak, play soccer, mountain bike, ski, and hike.
