For the first time in the Denver area, we invite Youth and Young Adults born in the years 2002 through 2012 to perform in a youth choir for one of the four performances of Rob Gardner's Lamb of God sponsored by Cornerstone Productions.
This experience has the power to draw you closer to Christ, not just through performance, but through the very act of immersing yourself in this beautiful and moving work each week.
To be considered for the youth chorus performance of Lamb of God, please complete the following:
Fully complete all required sections of the Google audition form (link found above)
Submit a short audio recording (in the audition form, link above) of yourself singing the 1st verse of a hymn of your choice a capella. Please announce your name, your hymn, and the key in which you will sing. You may record from an audio app on a smartphone device and upload it to a link provided in the audition form
Because of some of the advanced music and vocal demands, here are the criteria for selection:
Knowledge and skill of reading music
Previous or current choir/musical experience
Born in the years 2002 through 2012.
Accomplished youth and young adult soloists will also be considered for this performance. If you are interested in auditioning as a soloist, please audition for the choir as well. Information and material for youth solo auditions will be sent at a later time to those who have completed this form.
All selections will be made by mid-December, and all candidates will be contacted with results and information, including recordings, digital scores, and practice tracks to start building familiarity with this powerful and challenging music.

YOUTH PERFORMANCE:
Saturday, March 28, at 3:00 pm.
(Call time 12:00 pm)
-This is the Saturday Matinee performance All evening performances will be performed by the adult Cornerstone Chorale and Orchestra as in the past.
REHEARSALS
January 12 - March 23
Every MONDAY
7:00 - 8:30 pm
Technical rehearsal with Orchestra (choir attends as well)
Saturday, March 21 from 9-11:00 am.
If selected, you are asked to attend the Monday rehearsals weekly.
Participants allowed up to two absences.
